Hendrina

Mpumalanga

The town of Hendrina was named after the wife (Hendrina Beukes) of the owner of the farm 'Garsfontein' on which it is situated. The farm was purchased from the owner, Gert buekes in 1914. Hendrina became a village in 1923.
