Arnot(Rietkuil)

Mpumalanga

In 1965 work started on the Arnot power station. The site for this new construction was the farm Rietkuil purchased from seven land owners by Eskom. Arnot power station was fully operational by 1975, three units were mothballed in 1993 and brought back online in 1997/98.
